Pregancy Related Pain

Carrying around your baby is hard enough work. But there's lots of things to help make you feel more comfortable if you're getting pain and discomfort while pregnant.

Lower back pain

Can often be as a result of carrying around your bump as it affects how your body moves.

Upper back pain

Carrying your bump can make the muscles around your back work extra hard to keep you sitting and standing upright.

Pelvic girdle pain

Pain around your groin and/or hips. Can be made worse with prolonged time on your feet.

Carpal tunnel syndrome

You can experience pain around your hand and fingers along with possibly some pins and needles, numbness and sometimes even weakness.

Sciatica

Sometimes the weight of your bump will place different demands on your lower back and in rare cases can give you pain and discomfort down your leg.

Cubital tunnel syndrome

Discomfort/ache around front of elbow, sometimes referring down forearm into little finger side of your hands. May also experience numbness, tingling or some weakness into these areas.
