Neck pain

Also known as cervical radiculopathy. You may feel pain around your neck and into your shoulder blade that can travel down your arm. Some people can feel numbness, pins and needles or even weakness in their arm or hand.
Degenerative disc disease
In isolation not usually anything to worry about; this will develop for most people as we get older. But it can have knock on effects around other joints.
Facet joint changes
Can lead to stiffness and pain on tilting or twisting your neck.
Muscle spasm
Perhaps your neck had been a bit stiff for a while? And then all of a sudden something innocent like getting out of bed leaves your neck extremely sore and restricted.
Working from home pain
Pain around the tops of your shoulders, neck or upper back? Maybe getting worse the longer you're sitting or working? Some people can report dull tension-type headaches alongside pain.
